Stories Matter is the grand finale in the event series, BELONGING: Local Expressions of Black Empowerment and Possibility. This live, curated story performance features a diverse lineup of Black community members telling personal stories that are real and revealing, hilarious, human and healing. Storytellers include Dr. Joye Carter, the first Black American in the United States to become a Chief Medical Examiner; a young soccer player who makes his way into the heart of his new team, and many more. A unique entertainment experience for everyone who enjoys stories well told!.
