The best way to predict the future is to create it. The time is NOW.

On January 18, 2020, we will take to the streets to declare that THE TIME IS NOW. We are heading into an historic election that will decide the direction of our country. The time is now to show up, speak up, vote, run and lead. The time is now to save our democracy and protect our planet. The time is now to be bold, brave and loud.

Since 2017, WMSLO has organized over 40 events attended by 25,000 people. Despite setbacks, obstacles and disappointments, we continue forging forward. Women are marching, voting, running for office, organizing and advocating for causes in record numbers. Together, we are bringing diversity, inclusion and equity to all levels of leadership, and we will continue the work until our communities are safe, healthy and equitable for all.

Change takes time, effort, resilience and money. We rely on donations from our community to help us cover the many costs associated with a mass rally and march, and to ensure it is safe and accessible to everyone in our community. WMSLO does not receive any funding from Women’s March Inc or any other Women’s March chapters.
