Dear Marchers,

On the Senate floor Tuesday night, Senator Elizabeth Warren was barred from participating in the debate on Sen. Jeff Sessions’ nomination for Attorney General after she quoted past criticism of him from Coretta Scott King. In 1986, King wrote a letter objecting President Reagan’s ultimately unsuccessful nomination of then-U.S. Attorney Jeff Sessions to a federal district court seat.

In response to silencing Senator Warren, we ask you to send Coretta Scott King’s letter to Mitch McConnell to show him that we will persist!

Our GOAL is to send 11,282 letters – the number of days between Coretta Scott King writing her letter and the day Senator Warren was silenced.
