Ray Duncan is a new American singer/songwriter. She was born and raised in a small town on the Central Coast of California. Her mother Jude Johnstone has penned songs for the likes of Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, and others, so it follows that while growing up in a musical household, it wasn’t too long before Ray started writing songs of her own.

At fifteen she and her father Charles Duncan co-founded Ranchers for Peace, a folk/protest duo featuring tight vocal harmonies and Charles Duncan’s artful and thought provoking lyrics.

After gaining valuable experience performing near and far with the Ranchers, Ray recorded her first collection of original material, a seven song EP entitled “This Road,”  which was released in June of 2016. She hopes to begin recording a full-length album with her band sometime in the coming year.
