Courtney Basden is a senior at Atascadero High School with a passion for activism and political engagement. She has participated in Women’s March events in the past, and is a member of the Atascadero Feminist Club. Outside of school, she is apart of the Must! Charities Youth Board where she focuses on community outreach and service for those in need, and enjoys photography and video work. When she graduates, Courtney wants to attend college where she will study film production and digital media. With a career in film, she would like to focus on narratives that shed light on political issues facing society in order to raise awareness and support.
