Join us in Mitchell park for a family friendly event with speakers, performers, DJ, community leaders, and local nonprofit organizations!

How can you engage to make this world a more equitable and just place to be? What steps can you take in your own community? Come hear from people who are actively engaged in making a difference. Let’s mobilize, get involved, and stay involved in 2022 and beyond!

OFFICIAL AFTER PARTY WITH SUBSESSIONS!
Women’s March SLO is honored to partner with SubSessions for an official Engage for Equity after party! Join on March 5, from 5pm-10pm at Bliss Lounge patio.

From SubSessions:
We aim to empower the everflowing, vibrant shapes of femininity. We recognize that femmes have been historically pushed to the sidelines and femme creators, especially those of color, erased from history. This evening will be a showcase of local creators including Drag Queens, DJ’s, Speakers, Live Painters, and Flow Artists.

We believe that music and art is a powerful medium that transcends the rigid forms of the status quo. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in the conversation through art by adding to the collaborative art piece, viewing the art gallery or peering over the shoulder of a live painter. Let’s build a community that empowers each other to listen and participate.

Join us in celebrating all shapes, sounds and expressions of femme ????
This free event welcomes all people of all ages. Any donations will go to the featured femme creators.
