My name is Mikaela Bell, and I am a junior at Morro Bay High School. I started reading about intersectional feminism several years ago and from there my passion for activism has only grown and developed. I am in love with the art of photography and seek for all bridges I can build between photos and social justice. I’m also a member of theater arts in my school, and spend weekends working on photography projects. I believe that photojournalism is one of the most influential parts of social movements, and right now as history is made I want to document as much of it as possible.
