Rachel Santa Cruz is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for bringing joy to people through music. With roughly 15 years of choir experience she has honed her skills as a singer and developed a great ear for harmony. She has been playing piano for 16 years and within the past 2 years, she can be seen primarily singing while playing baritone ukulele.

As far back as she can remember Rachel has been exposed to, and taught to appreciate, an extremely wide range of music, resulting in a colorful spectrum of musical influences.

You can catch her all over the Central Coast hosting open mic nights and open jams, in addition to performing regularly throughout San Luis Obispo county and beyond. Either solo or with a variety of bands, such as the nationally touring act Wiley Ray & The Big O Band Presents: “Roy Orbison Returns: A Tribute to Roy Orbison” in which she provides supporting backup vocals assuming the roles of a young Bonnie Raitt and KD Lang as featured in the TV special “A Black and White Night” as well as singing the lead as the embodiment of the great Patsy Cline for a portion the the show. She lends her talents of keyboards/ukulele/percussion/vocals to the New Times Music Award winning Noach Tangeras Band and she is spearheading her own project; Rachel Santa Cruz & Company and has the privilege of performing with her father Bobby in The Bobby Santa Cruz Band.

Rachel is currently pursuing a career in Music Therapy through working with a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic as a “music provider”, with hopes of being certified within the next 2 years.
