Rita Casaverde is a Product Management leader in software and technology with an extensive background in environmental protection and minority rights activism.
Rita was granted a Green Youth award by the United Nations for her environmental conservation work in the Andes of Peru, where she was born and raised. She has been living in San Luis Obispo for the past 7 years, making SLO her second home. She recently became a Climate Reality Leader, after receiving training from Al Gore and other environmental leaders.
During her free time she visits as many U.S. National Parks as she can.
