The Time is Now

On January 18, 2020, we will come together for the fourth annual Women’s March in San Luis Obispo, joining thousands across the nation and the world.

Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Your truth matters. Now is the time to make them count.

Join us as we uphold the values of our Unity Principles, and work toward a positive and just future for all. In the past three years we have advocated for women’s rights, human rights, civic engagement, and social and environmental justice. In 2020, let’s unite in numbers too large to ignore and claim our power. #TheTimeIsNow #PowerInUnity

We have to raise significant funds to make this march possible, safe and inclusive. Any funds received over and above the budget will be put into the general WMSLO fund to support our continuous advocacy and activism. It takes every one of us – please donate here.

This event is free – but please RSVP HERE so we can plan accordingly!

We need close to 100 volunteers to run this event successfully – please sign up to volunteer here.

FAQ

WHO'S INVITED?

Yes. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly for things like bathrooms, chairs for those that need them, water, volunteers, march length and more.

WHAT TO BRING?

WILL THE MARCH BE ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?

We are fortunate to have Katie Voice (back again this year) for sign language interpretation. Mitchell Park is ADA accessible, and we will have a limited number of chairs for those that need them.
